Douglas C. Bloom  Through October 8

This Houston-born artist has a new exhibit of photo-realistic paintings portraying traditional images of Americana.  These strategically blurred images use simple color schemes to add a contemporary twist to the traditional subject matter. In "Chevelle Parking Only," Bloom captures a mid-'50s suburban enviroment with a classic Chevy idiling and partially covered by a carport.
